Ok now we hit the real hard core stuff. Where abouts is the land exactly?
The land is in beautiful countryside, in a quiet urbanization called Cabra del Camp, Valls. If you put that phrase into google maps, you will see it. It should be B, which is actually the town council, but that's close enough. The map doesn't show a road, but there is a main road and obviously roads within the urbanization, so you can leave your tractor at home. It is also near the mountains and with an easy run to the beach. Reus Airport (Ryanair's base) is also very close and accessable. The motorway is also easily accessible.

The urbanization itself, is quiet, has all the amenities, shops, bar/restaurant, sports club, etc etc. But I have to warn you that it's not like the UK, all neat and well done - we're in Spain, so things can be a bit more rural.
However, that being said, the Spanish are advancing things at a fair old pace and in a few years, it will be much more dynamic and commercialized over here. That's what makes it such a good opportunity to buy land or houses here now.
The land is 1000 square metres and is nice and flat. If youv'e looked in Spain before, the land usually tends to be on the edge of a precipice and thats really hard work to dig out. So preparation for a build on my land will be very straight forward in comparison.
There are trees on the land, but those are easy to clear out. The other good news is that you have access to all amenities i.e. mains water and electric and the land is also walled and gated on the outside.
The really good news is that if you don't trust the Spanish workmanship, you have an English builder (a good one of course!), living right next to you. so if you need building work done or somebody to supervise your team, then you have it!
Next posts will show the photos and the rest will be up to you!!
